In our culture it’s all about resources. We recognize that to really serve our industry we need to provide the necessary resources to our readers. These resources are not limited to simple lists of technology hardware and software that is currently hot on the market. But by providing articles on current topics specifically targeted to small business owners, who feel isolated and lack the resources bigger firms have, we provide a new resource they are greatly missing.
My Office Today focuses on ways to embrace ever changing technology and how it affects the accounting office, addressing many important issues such as confidential data, compliance, branding, collections, and social media. We continue to cover the way offices are managed in today’s marketplace and how to organize them, tracking data, and getting the most billable time out of each day. As technology changes we review whether existing methods keep firms competitive, productive, and financially responsible.
We continue to seek relevant technology topics from sources outside of our industry, such as New York Times best selling author, David Allen who has shares organizational skills from email to the mess on staff’s desks. In addition, we are pleased to include New York Times best selling author, Chris Brogan, who provides relevant strategy and information about how social media can change the small accounting office.
My Office Today focuses on relevant topics which are released in newsletter format and posted to our website. We also release an annual print edition summarizing the years best. Along with My Office Today, our parent company, Office Tools Professional offers information through conferences, websites, and podcasts.
