A clients’ perception of a staff influences their expectations of a business. These tips should help with improving a client’s perception of your staff.

Mark twain once said “Clothes make the man, naked people have little or no influence in society.” Presentation means a lot and it is important to constantly maintain and improve a clients’ perception of a business.

When a client calls and asks questions and a staff member answers with “I don’t know,” the entire business looks bad because there is no communication. All staff members need to be on the same page make sure that information going out of the office is consistent, and that policies are adhered to. A database or something as simple as a bulletin board is good ways to maintain this. Daily staff meetings are also an easy fix.
For the convenience of the staff and clients, a well-written FAQ page on the website will go a long way in assisting both staff and clients. This benefits everyone because the staff won’t have to answer commonly asked questions and clients can check to see if their question has been answered before.

Improving communication is key to enhancing a clients’ perception of a business. Inventing a system for handling messages, improves communication and response time. Another way is to store historical information on client communications with the client file. With these tips implemented, your business and staff are sure to shine and instill your clients with confidence in your company.
